Floors fail at the details. A subfloor that is not flat, an expansion gap that is too tight, or a transition that does not sit flush will show up within a season, no matter how good the material is.

We install luxury vinyl plank, tile and other flooring for homeowners around Salisbury, and we repair or replace sections of existing floors when a full replacement is not necessary.

What this includes

  • Subfloor preparationOld covering removed, high spots ground, low spots filled, and the surface cleaned and checked for flatness before anything is laid.
  • Luxury vinyl plankClick and glue-down LVP laid on a staggered pattern with correct expansion gaps at every wall and fixed object.
  • Tile floors and wallsBacker board or membrane, layout that keeps cuts balanced, and grout lines set consistently across the room.

What to send us

  • The rooms involved with approximate length and width of each.
  • Photos of the existing floor and any visible damage, plus a photo of the subfloor if it is exposed.
  • Whether you have already chosen the material, and the product name if so.
  • Whether baseboards and shoe moulding should be reused or replaced.
  • Your ZIP code, and whether the rooms can be emptied before work starts.

Questions we will ask

  • What is under the existing floor, and is there any sign of moisture or soft spots?
  • Does the floor need to be level, or is flat enough for the chosen material?
  • Are there doorways and stair edges that need transitions?
  • Is the space above a crawlspace or slab, which affects the moisture barrier?
  • How much furniture needs to move, and is there a staging area for it?
