Based in Salisbury, MDServing Maryland & Delaware communities

A door that sticks, a window that lets in a draft, or trim that was cut slightly short are small failures that make a whole room feel unfinished. These jobs are mostly about measuring twice and setting the opening up before the unit goes in.

We install and replace interior and exterior doors, windows and the trim that frames them for homeowners in Salisbury and nearby Maryland and Delaware communities.

What this includes

  • Interior doorsPre-hung and slab doors hung plumb, with hinges set properly, the latch lined up and the swing adjusted.
  • Exterior doorsEntry and storm doors set level and square, flashed and sealed so water runs away from the opening.
  • WindowsReplacement units fitted, shimmed and insulated, with interior and exterior trim reinstated and sealed.
  • Casing and baseboardNew casing and baseboard cut tight, mitred cleanly and caulked, with nail holes filled and sanded.
  • Crown and decorative mouldingCrown and feature moulding installed with consistent reveals and corners that close properly.
  • Hardware and adjustmentKnobs, deadbolts, hinges, closers and weatherstripping installed and adjusted so the door latches with light pressure.

What to send us

  • The number of doors or windows and whether they are interior or exterior.
  • Rough opening measurements, or clear photos of the existing units with a tape measure in frame.
  • Whether you have already bought the doors or windows, and the product name if so.
  • Photos of any rot, water staining or previous repair around the opening.
  • Your ZIP code and whether the opening can be left uncovered for a day.

Questions we will ask

  • Is the existing opening square, or does the framing need correction first?
  • Is the wall material drywall, plaster or siding, which changes the trim approach?
  • For exteriors, is there flashing and a drainage plane behind the current unit?
  • Do you want the old units and debris hauled away?
  • Is this a like-for-like replacement, or a different size?

Next steps

  1. 01Send measurements and photos, and note whether the units are already on site.
  2. 02Eduardo checks the opening details and confirms whether the framing needs work.
  3. 03You receive a written scope covering the unit, the trim and the sealing.
  4. 04Approved work is scheduled, with the opening closed up the same day.
